Accessibility statement

The goal
Every swimmer should be able to read about the coaching, sign up, and send an intake without fighting the website. This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. That is the standard commonly used to measure whether a website is usable by people with disabilities.
What that means here
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- A "skip to main content" link appears when you start tabbing, so you can jump past the header.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Text and controls meet or exceed the required contrast against their backgrounds.
- Every form field has a visible label, and errors are announced and described in plain language.
- Meaningful images have text descriptions. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Buttons and links are sized for comfortable tapping on a phone.
- Animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
- The site works at high zoom levels and on small screens.
Known limitations
Payment happens on Stripe's own hosted checkout pages, and the intake form is delivered through Formspree. Those services are run by other companies, and their accessibility is outside this site's control. If either one gives you trouble, contact Coach Montee directly using the details below and your enrollment or intake can be handled by phone or email instead.
This site does not use an accessibility overlay or toolbar widget. Those tools frequently interfere with screen readers and other assistive technology, so the accessibility work here is built into the pages themselves.
No certification is claimed
Accessibility is ongoing work, not a certificate. This statement describes the standard being targeted and the testing being done. It does not claim legal certification or guarantee that every page meets every criterion at all times.
